LevelsYou can specify stock level, stock value, minimum level at the point of entry of the new stock item. Current stock level: How many items you actually have in stock. Current stock value: The system is capable of keeping track of the stock value. Stock value is a dynamically tracked value of the stock – it is determined from the cost of the products you have purchased to populate the stock level and any direct adjustment. This is NOT PurchasePrice x Quantity. Example: Today you bought 5 T-shirts for $10, your stock value is $10 i.e. each T-shirt in the inventory costs $2. You sold one, the stock value reduces by $2, leaving you with $8. Tomorrow you purchased another 5 t-shirt from the supplier, but paid $5 for them. Your stock value is $13 where each unit costs $13/ (4 was + 5 new) = $1.44 On order from supplier: How many items are ordered from your product supplier.
